    Dear Mercer Families,

As we close out our year, I want to share important announcements with you.

Last Week of School: Last week of school schedule.pdf

    final week schedule
    • In order to meet the governor's requirement for in person learning, the last week of school (June 14-18) will have 4 days of in person learning for those students participating. We will follow our Monday/Tuesday schedule on Thursday/Friday that week. Wednesday will still be a fully asynchronous day.
    • As is the SPS tradition, the last day of school (June 18) will have a one hour early dismissal. Rather, than change our schedule, we will not meet in A-Teams that day and students will be dismissed at 2:50 p.m.

    8th Grade Promotion Celebration:
    • Our 8th Grade promotion celebration will be a Teams Live event on Tuesday, June 15 from 3:00 - 3:45 p.m. The celebration will also be recorded and shared out so families unable to join the live event may watch at their convenience.
    • A link for the event will be shared the morning of June 15.
    • On Wednesday, June 16, 8th grade students are invited to come to Mercer to pick up certificates and a small gift during the following times:
    o 9:00 - 11:30 a.m.
    o 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.

    • Students participating in an SPS summer program will keep their devices until the end of the program.
    • Students will not incur fines or fees for lost or damaged devices.
    • Families may return devices for all of their students (regardless of school) to any SPS school building.
